Stacia N. Lay is a graduate of California State University, Chico (B.A., 1995, Magna Cum Laude) and Rutgers University School of Law (J.D., 2000, Highest Honors). During law school, Stacia worked on the Rutgers Law Journal and as a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Program while also externing with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. After law school, Stacia clerked for the Honorable Karen G. Seinfeld (Retired) of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II. Before law school, Stacia worked as a reporter in Northern California.
