As a partner of Cooper, White & Cooper LLP, Kathleen Carpenter is the chair of the firm’s Building Industry and Risk Management Practice Group, and is a member of Cooper’s Financial Crisis, Green, and Media Practice Groups. Based out of San Francisco, California, Ms. Carpenter is also responsible for the content behind the firm’s blog, Crisis Risk Management: The Legal Whiteboard, where she discusses online reputation issues, crisis management and media law. Over the course of her legal career, Kathleen has focused her practice in the areas of risk management, real estate, construction, governmental advocacy, crisis management, on-line reputation management, media, e-commerce, and insurance coverage.
